US Senate Passes Trillion Dollar Bill, in Part to Help Fight Climate Change.

​The US Senate has passed a groundbreaking bill to spend a trillion dollars on renewing the country's infrastructure network, largely to deal with decentralised renewable energy production, electric vehicle charging and other measures to help fight climate change and its impacts. 

The US political parties have collaborated to put this critical piece of legislation together, that will undoubtably help in preparing the US for the challenges ahead in the fight against climate change. 

Emily Cochrane writes in the New York Times that "The bill includes $73 billion to modernize the nation’s electricity grid," "$7.5 billion to construct electric vehicle charging stations, $17.5 billion for clean buses and ferries, and $15 billion for removing lead pipes." While the US Forest Service will receive billions for fighting wildfires.
